Easter is about Jesus Christ being risen from the dead. Being God, death could not hold him.  Being man, he suffered death on a cross.  We are so thankful for this gift and our spiritual heritage.  That being said, we partake in many fun traditions for the Easter holiday.  Dying eggs is just one of them.  To us this symbolizes how Christ can change us.  Plus, it's just fun!  :)

Excuses....or God?

Excuses. I can list a dozen why I haven't kept up on my blog.  Is that what they are?  When real life gets in 'the way' of what I want to do?  I believe not.  I chose to believe that God changes my focus and hopefully I am listening.  He directs my days and hours.  He has led Nick and I to home school our children and that is taking up my time & energy.  My Family.  That's what His voice has spoken very loud in the last few months. With that said, I am hoping in the next few weeks He will allow some time for me to update this blog!  So stay tuned....listen for His voice....as I humbly try the same.
