What GOD wants for Christmas

This year we tried something different Christmas morning.  Instead of our usual reading of the Christmas story we read a book called 'What GOD wants for Christmas' by Amy Gordon.  This book includes a cd and 7 segments.  Each segment is a short story told by the angel Gabriel about one specific person in the story of Christ's birth.  After each 'round' of gift opening we would stop and listen to a segment, which also includes a carol.  It was very neat and a good way to focus on Christ, his birth and our part in the Christmas story.  It is published by Family Life Publishing.

                                           General chaos!

This Christmas we were blessed with lots of family!  The day included lots of food and games.  We had lots of laughter with Uncle Chris & Aunt Bekkie from Florida,  Grandpa & Grandma Patchen from Casper,  Grandma & Grandpa Connell from Nebraska,  Uncle Jesse, Aunt Cassie & Addison from Casper and Ray & Suzanne Richards from Jackson.  Thanks everyone for a memorable day!
