2011 Vacation - Part 2

The main stop of our trip was to a place called Lake of the Woods Resort.  We enjoyed our lovely cabin, hikes through the woods, the lake, roasting marshmallows, and being with family we don't see very often.  We included a trip to Crater Lake, Redmond, and Boise on the way home.

 This peaceful spot provided a good 5 minute break.

 This trail was nice & wide.  The previous hike we took was a little tiny path that made us wonder sometimes if we were still on it.  The kids enjoyed the second hike much more!

 Uncle Ray & Aunt Jocelyn rented paddle boats and canoes on two different days for us.  They were a ton of fun!! 

 These were taken our last day at Lake of the Woods.

 Crater Lake.  The amount of snow was incredible. Only parts of it were open as the rest was still buried.  At the end of June, they still had over 18 inches of snow.
